It was a busy weekend collating and sending out all of the invitations for our wedding.
Matt designed the invitations himself and wanted them to be different from what one would expect of traditional wedding invitations. Our wedding has an underlying travel theme to it as both of us love to travel, so he decided to make the invitations look like Polaroid photographs. For consistency, the "Anna Matt Wedding" logo has been used throughout all of the printed items with reference to this blog also.
The invites were designed a few months ago, and have just finished being printed, trimmed and embossed ready for sending. Starting with folding and gluing the pocket, then collating the 4 insert cards, find the right envelope label and then insert the completed invite. Seal it with our address sticker, wack a stamp on it and away it goes…
Save The Dates went out around the 6 months to go mark to let everyone know to keep the date free, as February is a very busy month for people its good to get in early.
Save The Date Invitation went out 6 months before the date.
Inside the pocket are 4 cards…
Inside are the four cards: the wedding invite, RSVP, directions and honeymoon registry.
It feels really good to get the invites completed and out to our guests. One more thing off the list and with just over 2 months to go.

Awesome invites guys, lots of personality. I like it!
